Find an answer ↓Choosing & using products
Which Moroccan ritual should I start with?
Choose by your main goal. Nila focuses on brighter-looking skin, the Hammam ritual on deep body cleansing, Aker Fassi on natural lip-and-cheek colour, Sidr on hair and scalp care, and Moroccan oils on nourishment.
How do I prepare a Nila Powder mask?
Mix ¼ teaspoon Nila Powder with ¼ teaspoon plain yoghurt, 2 drops rose water and 2 drops honey. Apply a thin layer for 15 minutes, rinse and moisturise. Do not mix Nila with plain water or rose water alone.
Is Black Beldi a bar soap?
No. Authentic Black Beldi is a soft, coarse olive-black paste used on warm, damp body skin during the Hammam ritual. It is rinsed before exfoliating with a Kessa glove.
How does an Aker Fassi clay pot work?
Lightly dampen a clean brush, cotton bud or fingertip with rose water, rub it over the pigmented inner surface and tap the colour onto lips or cheeks. Do not pour liquid into the pot.
Should I patch test first?
Yes. Patch test a small amount before full use, especially when your skin is sensitive or you are trying a product for the first time. Stop use if irritation occurs.
Orders, delivery & collection
Do you deliver across South Africa?
Yes. We offer tracked nationwide delivery. Delivery timing depends on your destination and is calculated from dispatch.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are generally processed within 1 business day. Major-city delivery is usually 1–3 business days after dispatch, while outlying areas usually take 2–4 business days. Courier delays can occasionally occur.
Can I collect in Durban?
Yes, by prior arrangement only. We are an online store and do not have a walk-in shop. Collection details are confirmed after your order or enquiry.
Can opened beauty products be returned?
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used personal-care products generally cannot be returned unless they are defective. Please review our full Returns & Refunds policy for the applicable terms.
Authenticity & natural variation
Are your Moroccan products authentic?
We source directly from Morocco and select our traditional beauty products with care. Our experience includes seeing and testing these products in Morocco.
Why can colour, scent or texture vary?
Many traditional and naturally derived preparations can vary slightly between batches. This is normal, provided the product remains within its intended specification and storage guidance.
